Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required skills and experience: 2 Years of ICU Experience Required. IV therapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Medications, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Gastrointestinal, GI surgery, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Work Settings, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Additional Skills, Screen missing requirements

Preferred skills and experience: Oncology experience preferred. CVVHD/CRRT, Continuous IV sedation, Phlebotomy.

Required credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Government issued photo ID. Drivers License/State ID. BLS ACLS must be AHA only (Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable).

Shift & schedule requirements: DN Rotating

Floating requirements: Travelers may float to James MICU or UH MICU/SICU. May also float to M/S or PCU units.
