Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

18 months of Emergency Department experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Can no longer accommodate travel pairs or trios.

A de-escalation certification is required prior to starting. Online courses are accepted for CPI, MOAB or MAB.

Smaller unit & 1st time using travelers so exp is preferred

Every other weekend

Special Requirements: Previous Charge exp preferred. We are not a stroke or STEMI facility; we treat and transport to our Grant campus. No Trauma level, we see all age patients, all diagnosis. Admit in house or transfer depending on specialty needed for admission.

Scrubs: Caribbean Blue

Orientation Hours: 24

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 48

RTO: No holidays.

Blocked Scheduling: Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. Please do not submit travelers who have this as a dealbreaker for them.

Work History that includes any Tucson Medical Center locations will have to be sent over to TMC’s HR for rehire status approval

NIH - Apex, AHA, AACME, Healthstream, and BlueCloud are acceptable.
