Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

NIHSS (Preferred)

TNCC (Preferred)

PALS (Preferred)

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Monday to Friday with call and late days as needed.

Required Skills/Experience: Craniotomy and burr hole experience are required

Preferred Skills / Experience: Previous Charge Experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

List of procedures in the unit: Neuro/Spine, Ortho/trauma, General/robotics/trauma

Previous Employment Requirements: Return traveler Status. Previous perm staff must be gone 1 year in order to return as a traveler
