Required Skills/Experience: General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma and ENT experience
Skills: General OR, Ambulatory OR, and Trauma (Amputations, Gunshot/Stab wounds, MVA). You are proficient in Orthopedics (ACL Reconstruction, Arthroscopy, Arthrotomy, Carpal tunnel release, Fracture reduction), Ortho/Spine (Spinal Fusion, Total joint replacement), and General Surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair, Mastectomy). Your technical expertise includes ENT (Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy), Endoscopic Procedures (Peg tube placement), Neurology (ALIF, Cervical fusions, Craniotomy, VP shunt, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy), Pedi ENT (Myringotomy with tubes), and essential equipment such as Electrosurgical units and Fiber optic sources. You also maintain high standards in Infection control, Laser/Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling, Universal Protocol (Time out), and Emergency management (Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia).

Skills: Bariatrics (Gastric bypass/Sleeve/Lap band, Scrub Bariatric Surgery), Cardiovascular/Vascular (Atherectomy, ASD repair, Femoral Cannulation, AAA/TEVAR, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy/Stenting, AV Fistula), Thoracic (Lobe resection, Thoracotomy, Mediastinoscopy), ENT (Laryngectomy, Radical neck dissection, Septoplasty, Mastoidectomy), Ophthalmology (Cataracts, Glaucoma, Vitrectomy), Robotics (Da Vinci Xi, Mako, Mazor), Plastics (Free Flap, TRAM flap, Abdominoplasty), Oral/Maxillofacial repairs, Pedi General/Urology surgery, Cell Saver, Hana Table, Steris systems, and clinical skills including Blood administration, Cardiac Monitoring, and Peripheral IV starts.

Unit/Facility Details: Tdap declinations are not accepted at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Shift & Scheduling: 3x12s or 4x10s with rotating days off and call
Call Required: Varies - Average 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle.
Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: Varies - Averages every 4th or 5th weekend.
