Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission

Required skills and experience: PICU, Respiratory, Care of Ventilated Patient, Professional Topic and Skills, Infection control/PPE, Wound assessment/care

Required credentials: BSN is required for consideration. Drivers License/State ID. Must carry a valid government-issued Photo ID while on assignment.

Shift & schedule requirements: Choice of Day or Night. Every other weekend.

Floating requirements: Travelers can be asked to float to our Summa location in addition to our Akron main campus. Any acute care units and NICU.
