Previous Employment Requirements: Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Required Skills/Experience: Skills required: Vent management, IV Starts, chest tubes, IV med titration
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with Neonatal Resuscitation (CN will attend deliveries)
Required Credentials: Nursys
Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates – all gestational ages; Level 3 NICU; Diagnoses include, but not limited to: Low Birth weight, High frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, total body cooling, feeders/growers; No ECMO, No cardiac surgery at this time
Unit/Facility Details: 28 beds; Free Parking
Shift & Scheduling: Will consider 36 or 48 hour contracts; no weekend rotation, traveler may work mostly weekends;
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Yes, only if placed on call for Low Census
Floating Requirements: Float to PICU, Pediatrics, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, Adult (Constant Observation Only) - (overflow on peds unit)
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2+ years of experience
