Experience

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Orientation Bi-Weekly

Weekends: Every Other

Weekend Hours: Rotate every other

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Call Requirements: Push back hours depending on census

PALS or ENPC

Float Requirements: Helping hands in areas they have competencies

Patient Population: Birth to death

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience with strokes, STEMI’s and trauma

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: everything

Required Education: RN no less then 2 years
