References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff.
Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule.
First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor.
Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units.
Patient Diagnoses • Lymphoma • Multiple Myeloma • Acute leukemias • Chronic Leukemias • Sickle Cell Disease • other non hem cancers • Other benign hematology
Special Procedures/Unit Details • Chemotherapy • Blood transfusions • IV Antibiotics • Oncologic emergencies: tumor lysis syndrome, cytokine release syndrome • Insulin drips • Heparin drips • Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
Skills Required • MS/Tele • Telemetry • Interpretation of dysrhythmias • Telemetry -on the unit monitoring • Use of Rapid Response Teams • Feeding tube care and management IV therapy/Phlebotomy • Blood Product Administration • Central line blood draw • Peripheral Line Care/Management • PICC line management • Starting IVs
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
