Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
License
Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license
Certifications

BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
PALS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling requests

Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required.

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Our Emergency Department (ED) nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions

Required:

Strong experience with Stroke, Sepsis, STEMI patients

This is a fast paced, high patient acuity Emergency Department. Emergency Department can reach up to 220 Patient Volume ED/per day.

Can see up to 20 stroke patients/per shift

Floating: Float within department - ED Adult, Peds, IMC

Required Certifications:

Telemetry

CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours

Shift Information:

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Holidays: As Needed.

No on Call.
