Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

There is no shift differential for AM/PM.

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

CPI Blue card proof is required for ED and Peds ED.

Equipment Used on Unit:

• Cardiac Monitors, Baxter IV pumps, HP’s, Tonopen and more
• EMR: Vital signs flow into chart

Required Skills/Experience:

• Level II or Level III trauma experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Greater than two years of emergency department experience

Required Credentials:

• Cert: ENPC or PALS

Preferred Credentials:

• Cert: CEN or TCRN

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

• Assessments, documentation, medication administration, wound care, splinting, IV’s,
• Urine collection, Lab draws, Care for ESI 5 through 1

Unit Details:

• Shift Huddle at 7am and 7pm, is mandatory for everyone to attend unless providing critical care at the time of the huddle
• EMTALA training is mandatory
• Transitioning from a Level IV to a Level II trauma hospital.
