Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from last 12 months.

60 months of Cardiac Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

An interview may not be given prior to an offer being made.

RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply

RNs only: BSN is required.

No blocking Schedules

Required Experience: Cardiovascular nursing and Ambulatory nurse coordinator experience.

Patient Diagnoses:

Heart Failure

Cardiac experience including a strong understanding of heart failure pathophysiology and management is required.

Preferred: Critical Care Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure/Pulmonary Hypertension experience Master's degree.

Special Procedures/Unit: Ambulatory Management of adult patients with heart failure.

Prior Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit

Orientation Hours: 40

Patient Age Groups: Adults

BLS, ACLS - RQI certs are acceptable.
