Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Need to be able to recognize lethal rhythms and respond appropriately.

Required Credentials:

• Client will not accept any travelers with license hits dealing with diverting meds or endangerment.

• Nurses Only (w/ compact license) - must complete a one-time 6-hour suicide prevention training during onboarding according to the WA state regulations.

• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.

• Holiday Requirement: No

• Call or standby requirement: No call time, may be put on standby if scheduled and not needed.

Floating Requirements: Travelers are first to float - may float to the other surgical units or other medsurg units. Rare need for team nursing in Covid Medical unit.
