Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Emergency Department experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Age Group: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.

Required Skills/Experience: • Telemetry & Dysrhythmia Management • PCU/Stepdown Care • IV Insulin & Heparin Protocols • Renal Failure Management • Cardiac & Vasoactive Drips (including titration) • Blood Product Administration • Tracheostomy Management • Rapid Response Team Utilization • Wound Care/Wound Vac • Non-Invasive Airway Management (CPAP/BIPAP, Oxygen)

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience.

Special requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.
