Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU experience

Required Credentials: Associates Degree. AACN Certification.

Preferred Credentials: Advanced NRP. Non NICU, CRT is accepted.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Basic Respiratory Care, Critical Care, Ventilator Management, Patient assessment with Assess and Treat Protocols. Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and CodeBlue.

Types of Patients on Unit: All age groups.

Equipment Used on Unit: V60 BIPAP, HAMILTON G5 AND C1, ISTAT

Special Requests: Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Floating Requirements: Respiratory Therapy supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including ED, and general care areas. May also be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed . Would have advance notice.
