Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Additional Details:

Surgical Oncology Experience - Preferred

Need to be proficient in end-of-life care

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Friday/Saturday Nights. Saturday/Sunday Days

Call Requirement: None

Floating: To other floors as census fluctuates

Able to train to Charge and precept if needed - Preferred

Patient Population: Adult oncology/medical/surgical

Patient Types / Common Diagnosis: Surgical/Cancer

Preferred: Charge capable, Preceptor capable once trained

M1 is in a transition phase with lots of recent turnover.
