Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Additional Details:

No Block Scheduling.

Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday. Nights or Day/night rotating shifts.

36 guaranteed hours

Care of the L&D patient and nursing care during delivery. This includes high risk patients. Postpartum mom and baby care. Gyn surgical postop care.

Required skills: L&D, M/B, gyn care. fetal monitoring.

Floating: Helping hands in NB nursery and NICU.

Nurse to patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 for L&D, 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 4 gyns. combination of mom/babies and gyns = 1:5-6.

Navy blue scrubs for gyn and mom/baby care or hospital provided scrubs for L&D

36 hours orientation for travelers.
