Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Our Cardiac nurses circulate general procedures when needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years of Critical Care experience (preferred)

Required Credentials:

Preferred Credentials: SGNA Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (preferred)

Completion of OR internship program (preferred)

Training Successful completion of Periop 101 (preferred)

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CABG, TAVRs, Windows, VATs & Open, General Surg.

Unit/Facility Details: 2 CVOR's - hybrid room for TAVRs

Average daily caseload - 2-6

Around 6 hearts per week

Special Requests:

Shift & Scheduling: Mon.-Fri.

0630a-3p (for 8hrs), 0630-5p (10hrs)

Shift could start at 0530 on occasion - start time depends on if we have hearts or not

Call - 1-2 weekends and 1-2 days a week in a 6-week period

30 min call turnaround time (call rooms can be arranged if needed)
