EP Lab Tech - Required
Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy: If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
Required Skills/Experience: 1 year EP Lab Clinical experience
Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler with req EP experience
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Hemodynamic monitoring / Ablations
EKG Settings and Experience Required: Inpatient, Outpatient, Obtaining vitals, Sinus node rhythms
Required Equipment Experience: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens x-ray machine, GE Micropacer
Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred Equipment Experience: D mapping Biosense, 3D mapping Abbott/ESI, Siemens X-Ray machine, GE/Abott EP4, ViewMate U/Sound, Siemens U/Sound, GE U/Sound, Laser lead machine
Groin closure device, Peripherals, Laser lead extraction
Preferred Work Setting: Trauma, Children's Hospital
Preferred Credentials: ARRT, Fluro permit
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Cardiac Electrophysiology study, Head-Up-Tilt test, Cardioversion, Internal Loop Recorder, Atrial flutter/fibrillation ablations, Supraventricular tachycardia ablations, Ventricular tachycardia ablations, Device implants (Watchman, Aveir, Pacemaker, Defibrillator), Device explants/lead extractions
Preferred: Adolescents
Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Equipment Used on Unit: Charting: Cardiolab (Preferred)
Unit/Facility Details: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
Total Staffed Beds: 748
Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.
Proof of Identification: Driver's License / State ID
Shift & Scheduling: Day/Evening
0700-1700 /1100 - 2100, two-three days of late case coverage per week
On Call/Weekend Requirement: None
