Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Required Skills/Experience: Two (2) years of previous acute care experience in MedSurg, Maternal and Child Care, Critical Care, Pediatrics.

Current Adult Care home health experience.

Required Credentials: Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accreditated Nursing Program.

Must have NYS Nursing License Registration and NYS Copy of Physical License/Diploma for submission.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient range from 18 years old to 100 years old.

Patient cases can range anywhere from 5-8 cases a day.

Unit/Facility Details: This is for Bronx Borough.

This role is for true at home, nurse must travel to patient comes within the Bronx borough to provide care.

Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities (requires written manager approval in rare cases).

Special Requests: When you submit candidates, please outline what days they are willing to work etc. If preference is outlines in the cover page resumes will be rejected

All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival (no pre-approval).

Clinicians must start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer.

Shift & Scheduling: Client is flexible with days of work it can be: Sunday to Wed, Thursday to Saturday etc. but must do consistent days. There is no overnight coverage.

Alternating weekends are required.
