Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Nursery experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ years of NICU experience

Skill Sets Required: Special Care Nursery & Newborn Care.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population: All.

Unit/Facility Details: Level 2B Nursery, 25 bed

Clinician to Patient Ratio: L&D 1:2-3 Evals, 1:1 active labor, magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL. PP 1:3-4.

Census: Average daily census 15-25 mother, babies and labor.

Special Requests:

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).
