Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have oncology experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Common Diagnosis - CA diagnosis, Oncology, Hematology, ESRD, Diabetes, GI, Abdominal Pain, Dermatology, General Medicine.

Equipment Used on Unit: IV pumps, NG tubes, Chest tubes, specialty beds (sand beds) Required drips & Medications - Heparin, Lasix and chemo.

Special Requests: Must be able to start within 3 weeks from the job's listed start date. If declining flu vaccination- must complete on facility specific form. Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed, Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
