Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Preferred 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Shift & Scheduling: -Orientation is bi-weekly -Weekend Hours: Rotating

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult and geriatric, 18 - 125

Equipment Used on Unit: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer experience on a medical/surgical unit
