Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Emergency Department experience.

ADN completion required

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with pediatrics required

Care for pediatric emergency department patients, including assessment, medication administration, teaching, wound care, EKG, obtaining vs, providing mental and behavior health care, etc. Provides nursing care in a setting where there is potential for exposure to blood and other high-risk body fluids, communicable disease and hazardous materials, chemicals and waste.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: 2 weekends per month

Holiday Rotation: rotate every other
