Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Weekends: Every Other
No block schedule requests, 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
Float Requirements: floating to other units (IMC, ED) in the hospital is an expectation
Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: adult/geriatric
Type of Patients on Unit: total joint patients; surgical patients; ACS; pts with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD; alcohol withdrawal; SIRS; GIB;
Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry; recent acute care experience ; can handle 6 patient ratio
Preferred Skillset/Experience: at least 2 yrs RN experience; preceptor and charge experience is a plus
