Required Credentials: BSSR Attestation. Proof of ID: Current Driver's License or Government issued photo ID required.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Ortho: Total Joint Replacement/Fracture Repair Urology, GYN, Oncology, Vascular Surgery, Wound Healing, Medical Flex. Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units. Communication with AIDET, great customer service and phone etiquette is an expectation. Also care for medical flex populations that can be cared for on any adult inpatient unit.
Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics.
Equipment Used on Unit: Bladder Irrigation, Lift Devices, IV PCA, Epidural Catheters, End Tidal CO2 Monitoring, Pulse Oximetry, Telemetry, wound vacuum.
Unit/Facility Details: No. of beds: 29
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. No Call.
Floating Requirements: Float required to Adult Med/Surg units. Traveler required to float to help CNA & Tech tasks as needed.
