Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with MEDHOST is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.

Shift: Monday - Friday.

Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes-around 10-11 days of call a month including weekends. Call is 3p-7a.

Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes, every 3rd weekend Friday 3p to Mon 7a.

Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes, staff cover at least 2 holidays a year.

What is call response time: 30 min response time.

Floating Requirements: OPD (outpatient surgery), Preop and PACU for callouts.

Suites: 3 OR rooms and 1 endo room.

Common Cases: Endoscopes, Cataracts, Lap Choles, lap appys, C-Section, Tubal Ligation, Hysteroscopy, D7C, Endometrial Ablation, Total Joints, Shoulder and Knee scopes, Fractures, Excision, No robotics.

Experience:

Must have experience in all the specialties that we offer - eyes and endoscopy are highly preferred not must have.
Will need to have experience in same day and PACU.
Will need to have experience in Outpatient Surgery (OPD), Preop and PACU for call outs (Preop/PACU exp required).
