Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
36 months of Interventional Radiology experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Additional Details:

No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Halloween Weekend: 10/30 - 11/3 Thanksgiving: 11/26 - 11/30 Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1

Critical care experience required

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Inpatient, Outpatient, ED

Common cases: Angioplasty, Angiograms, Stents, Kyphoplasty, UFE, Vascular Studies, Venous Access, Port Placement, IVC Filter, CT Tissue Biopsies

Patient Ratios: Pre/Post-op bays: likely flex to more patients

Skills required: Sedation monitoring during Interventional Radiology Procedures. Experience with critical care gtts

Orientation (facility and unit): NEO-1st day, 4 precepted shifts on the unit

On call? If so, what is that schedule? Yes

One week of call every five weeks. During the on-call week the on-call hours are 4:30pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday; On Saturday and Sunday call is 24 hours each day starting at 6:30am to the following morning at 6:30am.

Holiday Expectations: All staff participate in holiday coverage. Depends on staffing at the time.
