Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
Required Credentials:
• Licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Requirement: Fri/Sat/Sun are all considered weekend shifts. Nights has to work 4 weekend night shifts/4 week schedule.
• Holidays Travelers must be flexible if they need them to work holidays; however, they don't usually have to work many holidays as they are typically covered by the perm staff.
Floating Requirements: All staff are required to float as needed into the rotation (Tele or MedSurg) w/ ratios up to 1:6, possibly 1:7 in MedSurg (not common) Also expected to go to Pandemic Unit
