Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurologic Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years ICU experience required in large (450+).
• Must have EVD experience.
• Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience.

Required Credentials:

• Candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting.
• All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.
• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Special Requests: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage. May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift.

Floating Requirements: Required to float between all ICU floors, and all Tele Units. Will get a patient load of 4:1 on tele. 1st to float.
