Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Stroke experience. Skills: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, ICP monitoring, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Heparin Drip Management

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Blood Product Administration, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, External ventricular drain (EVD), Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Phlebotomy, IV insulin protocols, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Photo ID card.

Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions.

Shift & Scheduling: 50% of holidays and weekends. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Float to ICU and Med Surg.
