Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

36 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

All required certifications and licensure should not expire during the assignment. If your certifications or licensure are set to expire during the listed contracted dates, you must apply with a receipt of renewal.

Going guarantee 36 hours / week

172 bed children’s specialty hospital.

25 bed unit with Surgical, Respiratory, Trauma, Neurology, Nephrology, Cardiac patients ages 0-21.

Unit specific procedures- drips, infusions, central lines, PICC lines IV starts if it is a skill they are competent on- vents transporting patients, sedation weaning protocol, CRRT.

Other unit information- Intubated patients, CPAP, BIPAP, HFNC

May float to other pediatric units as needed.

Minimum 3 years clinical experience.

Requirement CS

5 Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts required per month and must work one of the summer holiday.
