Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Dialysis Unit experience with 6 months within the past 12 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

RNs Only - All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in dialysis is required. Professional Nursing Certification preferred. Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English.

Required Credentials: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses’ accepted) NURSYS

Shift & Scheduling: Holidays as required. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
