Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Special Requests: No block scheduling requests. Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and On call: Every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule.

Equipment Used on Unit: EMR – Meditech, CPN.
