24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours.

• Weekend Hours: Every other.

• Call Requirements: No schedules call, but maybe put on call if census drops in unit.

• Float Requirements: Must be willing to float.

• Floating is done on a rotation with the travel nurses.

• Equipment: baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, bolt monitoring, vents, bipap, high flow oxygen.

• Must Have Skills/Experience: experience with vented ICU patients.

• Preferred Skillset/Experience: CVICU, Neuro ICU, organ donation, pediatric DKA.

• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Post-open heart, heart failure, resp failure, Trauma, Surgical ICU, post stroke with lytics, post crani, Septic Shock

• Scrub Color: Galaxy, Royal, or navy blue.
