Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience.

12 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

Preferred 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

BSN completion preferred

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Types of Patients on Unit: Medical, surgical, respiratory

Special Requests: Blocked scheduling accommodated: No

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Schedules are for 6 weeks at a time and in that 6-week period there is a requirement for 6 weekend shifts. On Call Requirement: There are 2 call shifts required in a 6-week period.

Floating Requirements: Floating is required when the need arises: Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, Joint, Emergency Department

Unit/Facility Details: Nurse / Patient Ratio: IMC ratios are 4:1 if an aide is available, with no aide the ratio is 3:1
