• Dysphagia Management: Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Compensatory Strategies, Conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, International Dysphagia Diet, Interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, Oral Motor, Thickening Agents.
• Billing/Documentation: Point of Service Documentation.
• Community Hospital Experience
Required Credentials:
• BLS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
• Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Unit/Facility Details:
• Outpatient Therapy Clinic
• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Reference can include Charge RNs / Leads.
• Clinician must have reliable transportation.
• Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.
• Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID; Social Security Card
• All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
