Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Endoscopy experience with 1 months within the past 6 months.

Diploma completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

Endoscopy experience or similar experience

Must be comfortable with moderate sedation administration (Versed/Fentanyl/Benadryl).

Need to be comfortable being independent as they will be the only sedation RN while on call

Preferred Skills/Experience: Would highly prefer someone who is comfortable admitting/recovering and starting IVs

Required Credentials: Will take moderate sedation exam once here

Preferred Credentials: Photo ID

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: lot, free

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Shift & Scheduling:

Rotating day off each week, Call and Weekend Rotation

On call? Yes
No overnight call
Call is done a week at a time (7 days of call in a row)
During the weekday: late call until 7p.
Weekend: 7a-7p
20 minute response time
On call once every 12th week or so

Holiday Expectations: 1 holiday per contract, call only

Floating Requirements: Will float to Ridgeview Surgery Center, about 5 minutes from the hospital. This will happen about once per week. Traveler will know in advance if they will be over there.
