Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

NIHSS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Neuro MedSurg

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Need to have overall strong Neuro experience.

• Proficiency and frequency with G-tubes.

Required Credentials:

• Any background hits need to be disclosed at time of submission.

• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

• Holiday Requirement: Travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation

Floating Requirements: Possibly to 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E first priority. Then offered to the rest of the hospital if needed.
