Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission

Must have NICU and L&D experience.

Must be willing to float to other areas such as NICU, PICU, ER and other NICU units at other locations if needed

Clinician to Patient Ratio Experience- 1:6

Must have worked pediatric or neonatal critical care, preferred if worked at a children's hospital not a unit within an adult hospital

Float required: PICU pairs with ICU Step Down, ED / NICU pairs with L&D offisite NICU

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Patient Diagnoses: Prematurity, birth anomalities, infectious respiratory diseases, traumas, surgical cases, CF, technology dependent patients, neuromuscular disease

Servo vents - must have experience using

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission – client typically approves BG hits

Return Staff Policy – Akron will consider prior employees to return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees

Must carry a valid government-issued Photo ID while on assignment.
