Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Emergency Department experience is required.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Additional Details:

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every Other Holiday. No on call.

Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

Required Skills/Experience: Procedural Sedation Administration

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ventilated patients, Triage. Previous Charge Experience.

Unit Details: 39 beds

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

Reference : References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
