Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 10 months of Long Term Care experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Alaska license

Required Skills/Experience: LTC Experience

Admission of patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions, Vital sign monitoring, Ambulation, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care, Blood glucose monitoring/testing, Ear drops, Eye drops, IM & SQ, NG tube/G tube, Oral, Subcutaneous, Face masks, Nasal cannula, Oxygen administration, Feeding tube care and management, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility/Nursing Home.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Long Term Acute Care (LTAC).

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Unit/Facility Details: All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Facility will arrange for a vehicle for traveler to use while on assignment. The vehicle will either be a facility owned vehicle that will be rented to traveler or a vehicle through a rental car company.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

No more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26 Week Contract,

Shift & Scheduling: 4x12 or 3x12 (Variable)
