Guaranteed Hours: 36
Shift: 0630 -1700. Call is 1 to 2 shifts per week.
This position requires rotational scheduling and on-call (night, weekend, and holiday) coverage upon successful completion of established didactic and clinical requirements, required exams, and the discretion of the OR SCN.
- Must have completed and provide documentation of at least one of the following:
- Completion of an approved Surgical Technician training program accredited by the Association of Surgical Technologist (AST)
- On the Job training in a clinical healthcare setting or military specialty
Must be certified within 6 months after 3-year qualification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA 3yr) – or Surgical Technologist Certification (CST), or current certification from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT-3yr 6240 hours) – Certified Tech in Surgery (TS-C)
