Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
ADN completion required
3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.
- Must have acute care surgical floor experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program. If a BSN degree is the highest level of education verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.
- ENT and/or Transplant Experience
- Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience as this floor has inpatients pre or post-surgical services-mostly surgical experience is needed. • 4E 61000 candidates will care for patients post operatively and need to have experiences taking care of patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT.
Unit/Facility Details: Will not accept OR candidates. Some of these patients will be Step down care as well.
Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
