Required Skills/Experience: Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Administration of chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy, Chest tube care and management, Neutropenic precautions, Outpatient oncology.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: Government-Issued photo ID. Color or B&W acceptable. Must be clear and legible. Back of card only required if it contains pertinent information.

Unit/Facility Details: Will be working as an Ambulatory Care RN within the Oncology clinic (not working as an Oncology RN). This role serves as a Nurse Navigator/Care Management RN, to help with the high volume of oncology patients/new referrals

Parking Cost: Limited parking at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). Must show CCH badge for entry. (A shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Professional Building, Stroger and JTDC). Alternative options - Stroger Hospital Parking Garage or Metered Street Parking. Public Transit highly recommended.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday - Friday

Floating Requirements: Do not apply if you are not willing to meet the possible floating obligation.

• Cook is a mandatory float facility, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
• Cook has the ability to request that any clinician float outside of their “home” facility as long as the floating does not exceed 50 miles. Travelers may receive notification to float 2 hours before their shift.
• There are no home units. Your clinician could be floated to a variety of units, including outside of their primary area of competency.
