Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 24 months.
BSN completion preferred
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Med Surg & Rehab experience - Required
- May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
- Charge RN experience
Unit/Facility Details:
- This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
Special Requests:
- NOTE – Extensions that are requested to END in November or before the holiday starts in December will NOT be considered for an extension at the beginning of 2026.
- Block scheduling will not be considered for this need
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed
- On Call Requirements: TBD
- For Holiday Coverage, Travelers are REQUIRED to work ONE of the following: Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and Friday/weekend after
Floating Requirements:
- May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg
