Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Must have strong neuro experience

Call Requirements: Yes

Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years + OR experience in an acute care setting-not surgery center

Must have OR Experience in a hospital setting

Must have 2+ Years of Hosp/Specialty experience

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed (candidates with these skills will be considered first): Robotic experience

Procedures performed on unit: Perform high volume of General, Neuro surgery including Crani, Ortho, Robotic, some Urology and plastic. Heart and Transplants as well
