Required Skills/Experience: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Reading basic tele strips, some experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA and TIA.
Types of Patients on Unit: Common diagnosis / Types of patients: COVID, resp, GI, Diabetics, Tele, TIA, CVA as well as general, orthopedic and spinal surgical patients,.
Equipment Used on Unit: Bipap, Cpap, high flow, and some breathing treatments.
Unit/Facility Details: # Beds 48 (two units 4A and 4B)
Special Requests: No block scheduling.
I like them to work 2 days and 1 eve or 2 eves and a day (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day)
Shift & Scheduling: Schedules are made out for 4 weeks. Self-scheduling is used but not final until the manager balances
Floating Requirements: They may float to East Campus, and possibly PCU if qualified
