Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Floating experience does not count toward experience requirement.

Required Skills/Experience:

Cardiac background ability to manage devices IABP, Impella, post op cardiac patients, CVVH (CRRT)
RNs required to titrate drips: Levo, Vaso ,Neo, Propofol, titratable drugs- weight based

Types of Patients on Unit: Varies on each unit all critical care and IMC level of care on Pratt 8- Level 1 trauma acute patients.

Unit Details: Beds SICU- 10. MICU- 10, PG5ICU- 10, CCU- 10, NCCU-8; CSICU- 18, Pratt 8 IMC- 14

Special Requests: Cannot guarantee block scheduling each week/schedule

Shift & Scheduling:

Days/Nights rotation, 7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am
Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: As needed we do expect them to be available for one major winter and one major summer

Floating Requirements: Will float to all 6 ICUs and Pratt 8 our Cardiomyopathy IMC unit.
