Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Occupational Therapy experience within the past 4 years.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

HOUSING: Confirm the candidate has looked into housing in the area with the submittal. Leads available.

Unit Details:

of patients treated per day: Outpatient generally 8, Inpatient varies 5-12.
must take 8 hours of in house ortho education prior to ortho patient treatments.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: TSA (total shoulder arthroplasty)/shoulder scopes, pediatric, hand and UE injuries, pelvic floor, vestibular, hand therapy. Splint making.

Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient?: Expected to cover acute inpatient and surgical ortho patients. May include outpatient dependent on previous experience.
What areas are they required to cover?: Would be one or the other of above.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Outpatient experience a plus.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri 8-4:30.

Weekend Requirements: none
Holiday Requirements: Generally closed.
