Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years
3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Previous Employment Requirements: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Cannot work at another Commonspirit facility as perm or per diem within the last 12 months.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Common diagnosis / Types of patients: multiples, preterm, Percutaneous blood sample, everything, RNs respond to OB trauma.

Unit/Facility Details: # beds: 17 LDR, 8 high risk, 4 OR, 4 PACU, 8 Triage, 15 Antecare. Ratios: LDR 1:1 active delivery, 1:2 labor. Antecare 1:4. RN follows patient to OR/PACU. Are RNs required to titrate drips: YES. RNs to Circulate and Recover in PACU.

Special Requests: No block scheduling.

Shift & Scheduling: 2 weekends per month, 2 out of 4 major holidays. Holidays: Work into rotation.

Floating Requirements: ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to. Floating: Everywhere in OB arena.
